Learn how to not only reduce painful symptoms but also improve the way you move, function and perform by combining sports massage therapy with corrective exercise!
Whether you currently can't work, train or play your sport, we can show you how to come back from an injury like a phoenix rising from the ashes to feel and perform better than you did before your injury and enjoy your new personal best!
We have had the honour of learning from some of the best physiotherapists and sports therapists in the UK and have had the added advantage of learning from making every training mistake known to man kind ourselves. This experience and knowledge has helped us successfully treat several hundred injuries over the last 10 years.
One of the most important things about treating an injury effectively is understanding "how" or "why" the injury has occured. Many times people tell us that simple crucial assessments or actual hands on treatment have shockingly been over looked, ignored or not even considered by other so called specialists. This I believe is why we have succeeded where others have failed, due an up to date hands on and functional approach to therapy. Our clients include gym users, exercise enthusiasts, office workers to housewives and a whole host of professional athletes including members of the british knee boarding team, numerous well know professional boxers such as John Thaxton, Sam Sexton, Michael and Liam Walsh, Danny Macintosh, marathon runners, football players, rugby players, basket ball players and many, many more... By combining sports therapy, corrective exercise and physiotherapy, we believe that myself, David and Bob together provide the most effective injury treatment and rehabillitation clinic in Norwich. We also refer out to an experienced Osteopath when and if appropriate. But more importantly we also care about how we provide our service. We take the time to show you what we believe to be the problem (on charts, plastic models or your own body) and make sure you know exactly what to do after you see us to help you solve the problem. We also help make you aware of your mental state or attitudes regarding the management of your injury. This can sometimes be more important than manual therapy or exercises. Here are some of the common complaints we can help you with:
How long does a treatment last for and when can I book in?
How much does a session cost and do you do discounts for block sessions?

Here's what some of my satisfied clients say:
“When I injured my shoulder years ago I was sure that as a professional boxer I would get myself back into top shape quickly, but after 2 years of seeing specialists around the country to no avail I started to lose hope. When I first met Mark I remember saying "hey I have had the top guys around the country trying to get rid of this shoulder problem, so I doubt that you can!" But 10 weeks later after some specific exercise tweaking to my programme, sports massage therapy and relaxation techniques I became completely pain free. I couldn’t believe how a local private sports massage therapist was talking more sense and providing more affective treatment than the so called experts. Since then my shoulder pain is gone, I have got back into the ring in better shape than before and I have fulfilled my dream of becoming BRITISH CHAMPION! These guy got me results when nobody else could.”
John Thaxton (Norwich) "I had shoulder and back pain and my shoulders were very "hunched" when I used to do my own thing in the gym but since training with mark my shoulder and back pain have gone, my posture is loads better and I can actually do single leg split squats. (as above) I feel more naturally strong without having to do real heavy weights and more balanced sinse training with Mark. Things just feel easier... Thanks mark."
Nick Ramsey (Norwich "I regularly see Mark for massages and training tips to help me stay injury free. When I first met Mark I had a dodgy shoulder and back. I now feel in the best shape of my life. Mark has also helped me with nutritional advice and definitely contributes to keeping me in top form to box at my best!
Sam Sexton (Norwich) Former Commonwealth Champion "I couldn't even walk 5 steps since my stroke a couple of years ago. I can now walk using a stick and am much more mobile. I am much fitter than I used to be can actually enjoy doing most normal things. Obviously I wont be playing rugby anytime soon but I feel so thankful I found Mark. He is a life saver to me!!."
Ricky D (Norwich) "As a professional bodybuilder I need to keep myself injury free to get the best out of my training. I see Mark regularly for sports massage and rehabillitation tips and I can honestly say that I have achieved better muscle gain results in the last 6 months than I did in the 12 months previous to that. Mark has a good knowledge of how your body works and his massage is excellent."
Simon Cohen (Great Yarmouth) Professional Body Builder I have seen NHS Physios in the past for injuries but not felt like I got what I needed. I felt like I was put into a catagory and given some pre designed exercise sheets and not really listened to due to the lack of time. Plus I would see a different physio each time and have to explain my story over again. Marks approach has been much more informative and professional and for the first time felt like my injury has been understood and explained to me. I can tell that Mark also has a great deal of experience in exercise which he passes on and helps when I explain what exercises I am doing in the gym. Mark then explained how my programme was missing important exercises and movements to keep me balanced and what to do about it. Marks advice was very structured and progressive and the hands on deep tissue sports massage therapy was very helpful for my recovery. I now know that my back will be much stronger and I can feel much more confident lifting weights and working again.
